Why we created Intrepid Growth Partners

We started Intrepid around three core convictions:

• First, that AI innovation has become a global phenomenon. We believe the next generation of AI founders will emerge from international centres of talent and ideas, as well as from Silicon Valley.
• Second, that the AI companies which will define the next decade will transform whole systems and industries, not just individual tasks.
• Third, that AI is rewriting the investment rulebook, widening outcomes and upending assumptions and that investors will need to evolve to keep up.

Those convictions have shaped the conversations we have had with our Limited Partners, our investee companies and our wider network since Intrepid was established. They reflect a shared view of where AI is heading, where the next generation of global leaders can be built, and what founders will need from their investors to get there.

We are grateful that more than 80 Limited Partners from around the world have entrusted us with their capital and backed that vision through our first $525 million fund.

For the companies and founders who have already chosen to partner with us, our ambition is straightforward - to bring them more than capital.

As AI accelerates the pace of change, founders are being forced to make bigger decisions earlier, with less margin for error and but the potential for even greater payoffs when they get those decisions right. We want to be an active partner through those moments, combining our deep AI expertise, institutional investing and by giving our founders access to our unique global network.

The coming years represent a generational opportunity for transformation and value creation at the AI application layer, and we are excited to continue working alongside the founders leading that change.
